Description

A minerals report and lab analysis found the site contained reserves of dredger tailings and virgin sand and gravel derived from an ancient river channel and inland seashore system of Tertiary age. The examination indicates that the undisturbed materials, both sand and aggregate, are suitable for concrete after normal aggregate processing. There is 1.3 MM bank cubic yards exposed with 40 feet of the surface with inferred reserves above the water table equaling 15 MM bank cubic yards. There is potential to permit 15 MM cubic yards above the water table and 15 MM cubic yards below the water table.
